Words From Mark: During his life, Mark has been employed as a logger, commercial fisherman, welder, fiberglass repairman and as a social worker. He is currently self- employed as a full time artist. At present, he resides in Sitka, Alaska with his wife, teenage daughter, and three young sons. "My philosophy on painting is simple" he says, "a good painting should invoke feelings- good feelings, I hope. Alaska provides me with and unending source of inspiration, awe inspiring beauty that points to an awesome creator." Psalms 19:1 His work is heavily influenced by Alaskan artist Ernest Robertson.
